This week on the InSession Film Podcast, for Part 2 of our InSession Film Awards, we discuss our Top 10 movies of 2025! It was a great year for cinema and we had a really fun discussion counting down the very best that cinema had to offer at the movies this last year.
It took awhile to get going, but once the fall season arrived, it was an avalanche of great films. Even if, ironically, we saw some of the very best movies in the spring and late summer (and don’t worry, we have them represented on our lists), most of 2025’s great depth came during the last few months and it pushed the year to a whole new level. It was a little more well rounded than 2024 as Hollywood made a big comeback as well. Last year was defined by innovative ambition and extraordinary experimentation. This year had a nice little buffet of everything.
